FAQ's

What is a Paintless Dent Removal / Repair (PDR) ?

Paintless Dent Repair is a specialised method of removing dents, creases and dings, without the need for costly body shop work and re-painting the damaged panel. If the panel has paint damage then we can still fix the dent but we would need one of our paint partners to carry out a paint repair to finish the panel. Paintless Dent Repair is done by carefully manipulating the metal panel using specialised tools.

So, what are the advantages and benefits of Paintless Dent Repair?

1. Probably the most important benefit is the finished result. Paintless Dent Repairs are as close as you can get to the dent never having happened in the first place without the need to replace or paint the damaged area. See the Gallery for examples.

2. Paintless Dent Repair requires no sanding, filler or paintwork so there are no problems after the repair with things like colour matching or fading.

3. Cost is also a major benefit, typically a minor dent repaired in a body shop can cost two, three, (sometimes more) times that the same dent can be repaired for using Paintless Dent Removal.

4. Time savings are another advantage. Whereas a body shop will need your car for several days, causing you inconvenience, we can usually fix a small minor dent, at your premises within an hour (depending on the dents size and access). Paintless Dent Repairs are also environmentally friendly as we don't use paints, filler or other chemicals.

After the repair will my dents be completely gone?

Minor dents, for example parking dents, can usually be removed completely, without leaving any trace. Sharper, deeper dents are sometimes more difficult to remove fully but even on larger dents, most people are astounded with the results.

Will or can a dent come back after the repair?

No, once a dent has been removed with Paintless Dent Removal techniques it does not come back. Unless you re-dent the panel that is!!

Can any kind of dent be fixed?

No. The size, depth and location of the dent are the deciding factors. Dents can be fixed, as long as they are not too deep. Dents that are very deep, sometimes cannot be fixed using Paintless Dent Repair because the body panel is too stretched. If the paint is broken or cracked it usually means that a dent is too deep for us to repair without the need for additional paint attention by one of our paint partners.

Is it just cars that you repair dents on?

No. We have repair dents to motorcycles, vans, airplanes, helicopters and even garage doors. Every dent and subject is different due to materials, structures and required authorisations, but it costs nothing to ask.

Do you offer discounts for repairing more than one dent?

Yes, we offer discounts for multiple dents. If you have more than one minor dent on a panel, we will generally offer a reduced rate to repair a second or third dent. This does depend on the sizes and number of dents.

Do you repair dents for Private Car Owners or just Car Dealers and the Motor Trade?

Both. We offer the same  high quality Paintless Dent Removal service to private individuals and to the motor traders alike.

Can Paintless Dent Removal make my car more saleable?

Simply put, YES! We do a great deal of work for the motor trade preparing used cars for resale. PDR is a crucial element in making a car more attractive to the buyer, why should your car be any different when selling privately? Would you rather buy a car with or without that annoying car park dent? Without, of course. So in the same way you too can prep your car for sale adding value and making it more attractive to a potential buyer.

How much will it cost?

Costs vary as do the dents, but small dents with easy access start at £75.00, however all dents need to be assessed either by photographs or in person to give an accurate repair cost.

Just bare in mind....
